About the museum: The Henry F. Hauser Museum, founded in 2000, is named for Henry “Hank” Hauser, former college football star, avid golfer, career soldier, city council member and city magistrate, school board member and former mayor of Sierra Vista.

With generous support from the Sierra Vista Historical Society, the museum collects and preserves library and archival materials, photographs, memorabilia, and artifacts associated with local history, business establishments, water, and ranching. Noted collections include the Henry F. Hauser Collection, the James Rice Photograph Collection, the Oral History Collection, and Speaker Presentations. Documents and transcripts of oral history tapes, and Speaker Presentation DVDs are available to researchers and those interested in learning about this unique area.
